This Privacy Policy explains how squard.dev (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use iPriceView — the website, PWA, and Android app at ipriceview.com and pricehack.squard.dev.
1. Information we collect
- Account: name, email, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up, or name and email if you use Google sign-in
- Watchlist & alerts: products you track, target prices, currency, and whether alerts are on
- Preferences: preferred country / currency if you set them
- Usage: searches and product pages you view, needed to run comparison features
- Technical data: IP address, browser or device type, and basic logs
- Cookies: session / auth cookies and similar technologies
You can browse public product pages without an account. Sign-in is required for watchlist and price-drop emails.
2. How we use information
- To compare prices, show history, and manage your watchlist
- To send price-drop alert emails you requested
- To authenticate you (email/password or Google sign-in)
- To provide support, security, and service improvements
- To measure site performance (analytics) and show ads on the website where ads are enabled
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Advertising, analytics, and cookies
The website may use Google Analytics and advertising (including Google AdSense). Partners may use cookies or similar technologies. Opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data sharing
We share limited data only with providers needed to operate iPriceView (hosting, email delivery, analytics, Google sign-in, or advertising), to comply with law, or to protect rights and security. Product prices come from store listings we index — not from selling your personal data to retailers.
5. Security and retention
We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards. We keep account and watchlist data while your account is active, and retain logs as needed for security and legal purposes.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. To delete your iPriceView account and watchlist data, follow Delete account (no in-app login required).
7. Children’s privacy
iPriceView is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
